IVV stands for Industria Vetraria Valdarnese, and came into being in 1952 as a result of cooperation between 35 small-scale traditional glassworks in San Giovanni Valdarno just south of Florence in Tuscany. Today, the IVV is the largest producer of traditionally produced and hand-blown glassware in Italy.
Their products are available all over the world, and – besides Italy itself – their main markets are Great Britain, Switzerland, Germany, France, the USA and Japan.
The collection is very extensive, comprising more than 1000 articles.
Glasses, other drinking vessels, crockery, vases, ash trays, dishes, underplates, atmospheric lighting and candlesticks, kitchen accessories… in fact, too many things to mention.
